)(Master)(
Last season: Made the playoffs with a whole lot of luck in being placed in a weak division. Were eliminated in the first round 4-12 by BlackNike, the squad that eventually won the championship, 2-3 regular season record.
Preseason comments: Master's last season left a whole lot to desire for. They had a couple of big-name players, the much hyped Born Slippy and Thaller to be exact, both decided not to show for a single match during the season and now neither of them is rostered. Now at least the stupid newbie predictors won't expect them to suddenly show up, err... to tell you the truth, Master's roster seems quite weak, Crazy_Canuck and Elthia are decent pilots, but Wish Master )!( has disappeared from the roster, if he isn't a part of the "new" Master, the squad's in big trouble. Wish Master was the only player in last season's playing lineup who could maybe start for a higher level AML squad and definitely the heart and soul of the squads playing lineup. This season will be hard for Master unless one of the many unknown pilots step up and do some real damage.
Round one comments: Basically Master's preseason was a 2-2, just as expected. Victories over Alcoholism and Happy Mob, losses to EpiK and BlitZed. My old prediction stands, Master might end up missing out on the playoffs this season. The odd division outlook leaves me baffled about how many squads will reach the playoffs, so anything could happen. Expect a playoff round one exit at the best. Master has added some players to their roster, but I don't see anything to write home about. I didn't mention guns2 in my first writeup, he's a decent pilot and if active, can play some good matches.
Prediction: A weak division might open the playoff-door again, but probably not. A classic playoff squad might not be playing after the regular season this time.
Ideal starting lineup: Crazy_Canuck, Elthia, Chrome, BugEater
Players added since last update: A drunk girl, angelo zoli, Field Mob, Mega Man-75, thomas hawk
-BlitZed-
Last season: A catastrophic season for the old squad. A 1-4 regular season including a loss to Master ended up eliminating BlitZed in the regular season.
Preseason comments: The struggling squad has changed a little from last season. White_Devil, Pretty Hate Machine, Kentasaurus and Ham are gone from the roster, a notable new recruit is LordVegas, who has been to several big squads in the past, I remember him from BloodLust back in the squad's Pro days. BlitZed has eight players, so some recruiting will have to be done, last season's terrible showups should prove that. ChronicFlash is the squad's carrying force and BlitZed's form depends greatly on how well he plays. Madboy has been with BlitZed for quite a while and he's a solid pilot too. Thinks don't seem too bright for BlitZed at the moment. The squad has lost a lot since being to IML some seasons back. A playoff spot is possible if the best players show for the right matches in good form.
Round one comments: Things looked really bad for -BlitZed- before preseason started, but thankfully some improvement has been made since then. Some good recruiting has been done and the squad can now field six-seven average players instead of the thin starting lineup. Also, some of their pilots have been practicing actively and that's always a good sign. If AML's playoffs will have 16 squads again, BlitZed should be one of them. The squad finished preseason with a suprisingly good 3-1 record, but beating Warlords, Master and EpiK doesn't really make the squad a championship contender yet.
Prediction (changed): The good recruiting should pay off and now the squad has some bench which they can field. A playoff spot should be well within reach.
Ideal starting lineup: ChronicFlash, madboy, Salami Swammi, Pretty Hate Machine-
Players added since last update: a smashed banana, Bid, Jerstah, Plumpy, Pretty Hate Machine-, Reservoir, salami swammi, Spell Checker, SubJunky, Ugly Guy
Alcoholism
Last season: Alcoholism didn't win a single match last season, quite as expected, they did show some signs of life however and have some potential.
Preseason comments: Alcoholism hasn't got a listed roster yet, so this writeup won't be very covering. Meditation's squad begins it's third season of AML action without a single victory. Meditation has gained some skills during his captaincy and he's got solid pilots backing him up in Lord Schnitzel and Big Brother. If SEAL returns, his performance against Birds of Prey last season will be remembered. Alcoholism is a squad that's pretty much following the tracks of BUNNER's early seasons, we'll have to wait and see how far that'll take them in the long run. I might change this as soon as Meditation unleashes his new roster.
Round one comments: Losses to Master, Warlords and Birds of Prey and a victory against Exodus. The squad has grown quite large and I can see some newfound talent in the squad. I'm quite suprised about digi joining the squad, perhaps playing time was becoming an issue in the improving BUNNER? The squad still hasn't won a match during regular season, but things are looking up. Perhaps a playoff spot would be too optimistical, but anything can happen. They have to secure that first victory before that though. Some comments on new players... Recreance has shown a lot of potential and someone who picked the name "Choke Artist" can't be all bad.
Prediction: Playoffs are a possibility if the division is right. A first victory would be an achievement too.
Ideal starting lineup: Meditation, Lord Schnitzel, Big Brother, SEAL
Players added since last update: Big Brother, Bluetooth, Capitalism, Choke Artist, Cocktail Shaker, d i g i, Desc, Desire, Emissary, Fuckstorm, Lord Schnitzel, Meditation, No one can kill me, postzegel, Raspi, Recreance, Rifleman, SEAL, System, Turnip
Birds of Prey
Last season: Eliminated from the playoffs on the final regular season round as they lost to Ferrum. Ended the season with a 2-3 record and did leave a lot of unaswered questions.
Preseason comments: Birds of Prey, I named them a championship contender last season...how wrong I was, BoP had a weak season and missed out on the playoffs. I heard of BoP and NightBane merging for AML and I notice at least Capitalist Defender from NightBane on BoP's new roster. The only real loss from last season is Salami Swammi and the new recruits are quite powerful. For example, Dezacrator, Pryde!, Zide and Twista. It will probably be difficult to spread out the playing time for all these pilots. The older BoP players like Dagger, designator and COJONES!! add their spice to the soup and BoP is in for an intresting season. Also, Zilla (aka da Zillaman) has returned to BoP from EpiK. BoP has a dozen solid pilots who can start in matches, the problem is that they don't have the playerbase to challenge the strongest squads in the league. Still, the squad can go far.
Round one comments: Birds of Prey had a solid 3-1 preseason with victories over BUNNER, Dark Saint (noshow) and Alcoholism. Their loss came against Fly-NDeath. Not much to change from my old prediction. They have a roster that should make the playoffs without much trouble, but still don't have the big names with which to challenge the very top squads of the league.
Prediction: With this roster they have to make the playoffs, most likely a couple of rounds in.
Ideal starting lineup: Dagger, designator, Dezacrator, Pryde!
Players added since last update: Dark Hour, Federation, Foreign, Thug-Life.
BlackNike
The squad has been moved to IML.
Blasphemy
Last season: Eliminated in the semi-finals by the champion, BlackNike. Finished regular season with a 4-1 record, losing only to their rival squad, No Data.
Preseason comments: No roster listed yet. Blasphemy has lost some players and I'm not ready to predict their season until I see a solid roster.
Round one comments: Finally a roster listed for Blasphemy. A 1-3 preseason record wasn't exactly what I had expected, but they lost to Ferrum, Idiosyncrasy and BlackNike. Two of those three squads are no longer in this league and the victory against BUNNER was fairly solid. Blasphemy is still an unanswered question, as they've split up to two squads. Matt is a player who'll be missed. Basically Blasphemy might rely quite a bit on Sagum's and Scub's performance in the closer matches. Nalin, Muad'Dib' and Nightmare are all decent pilots, Coastal grabbed the MVP against BUNNER, he'll be an interesting pickup too. Looks like a playoff-prone season for Blasphemy. Hard to say how far after that, but I'm not closing out any possibilities... oh, and AnalIntruder has joined Blasphemy... fear the Lancaster.
Prediction (changed): Some rounds in to the playoffs. Not quite a championship contender though.
Ideal starting lineup: Sagum, scub, Coastal, Nalin
Players added since last update: Airwalkr, Allisya, AnalIntruder, Armored-Fist, Ausrottung, Coastal, Haunt, Isamu^Dyson, Jermar, Khmoy, Lazy I, Muad'Dib', Nalin, Nightmare, Sagum, Scub, Strapping Young Lad, X-Fault
BUNNER
Last season: Eliminated in round two of the playoffs with a 4-12 loss to Blasphemy. Finished regular season with a suprising 4-1 record.
Preseason comments: Well, BUNNER hasn't weakened, they're up with pretty much the same roster as last season. Season 7 was a suprising rise to glory for the classic AML squad and things can get better this season. The slightly weaker league opens up the gates to deep playoff space for BUNNER and this season they might even have a shot at the ultimate AML championship... in reality, I doubt that'll happen and a couple of rounds in to the playoffs is the maximum effort they can pull.
Round one comments: Basically the squad still lacks a strong fourth player, which was terribly clear as the squad recorded a 0-4 season with only 13 kills. The best relief for the squad would be that Chiefjoi hasn't played yet and a big newbie and Buttoch haven't played much together just yet. Basically... well, if the three (Chiefjoi, a big newbie and Buttoch) don't show or don't all play their best, BUNNER is in for a very difficult season. I'm still counting on the squad reaching the playoffs even after this lackluster preseason.
Prediction (changed): A difficult season might be what BUNNER's looking at here. A playoff spot might be possible if everything goes right. BUNNER hasn't added any players to their roster and they've lost d i g i.
Ideal starting lineup: Buttoch, a big newbie, Chiefjoi, lazyfish
Players added since last update: NONE
Dark Saint
Last season: Didn't play AML.
Preseason comments: No roster up yet, no prediction.
Round one comments: "Hi, I'm EnderFFX and I want to play league!" (Premier League squad application). I believe the squad was axed already... anyone remember how Ender was leading one of the best squads in AML, E-5? 0Endervoid, I have that nickname registered :(
Prediction: Booted sooner or later.
Ideal starting lineup: (insert playernames here)
Players added since last update: NONE
Disavowed
The squad has been moved to IML.
Dissent
Last season: Reached the playoffs with a solid season, beat Warlords in round one and then lost to Idiosyncrasy.
Preseason comments: Dissent has supposedly asked for a transfer up to IML which is still pending. I'll review their chances in this season's AML, if they end up playing here... Probably one of the stronger squads in this season's AML, the squad's packed with experienced players such as Miner, hedcase8, Addiction King, Aggro and Guardian. The Genocide has also joined the squad after being a Assassins-mascot for the last season. Dissent's possible success in AML depends greatly on their activity as a squad.
Round one comments: Basically I'd say that the AML squad of Dissent seems quite a bit better than the IML squad! Basically it seems like their best players are still in AML and the benchers were taken up to IML... Fatal, Chronic and Big Banger are all decent, but nowhere near the level of Miner and hedcase8... Well, maybe Dissent's up for another championship run in AML then. The AML squad is 10 players strong and the squad has graciously stolen Fuzion from BALLISTICS. Cfl is another recruit and the squad is very strong when compared to other AML squads. They'll go deep in the playoffs if they play with their current roster and a championship contender to say the least.
Prediction: Deep in the playoffs.
Ideal starting lineup: hedcase8, Miner, The Genocide, cfl
Players added since last update: cfl, Fuzion, Guardian
EpiK
Last season: A playoff spot clinched by being third in their division after No Data and Blasphemy, eliminated in playoff round one by BUNNER.
Preseason comments: EpiK was a disappointment last season. One of the oldest surviving squads ended up being eliminated in playoff round one and a lot has changed since the Pro glory days of the squad. Now for the good news, the squad has remained pretty much the same as last season, Zilla returned to Birds of Prey, but that's pretty much it. The squad's now ten players strong, a fairly good amount if most of them stay active throughout the season. The squad has several 'decent' players, but no real star players who could win the big matches for them and that'll be a problem. They'll end up making the playoffs like last season, but not much besides that.
Round one comments: Well, EpiK's done some heavy recruiting! Abbreviator, babyhef and HAMGASM are good recruits and the other new pilots shouldn't be overlooked either. While the recruiting has strenghtened the squad, I still fear that a playoff round one exit will be their fate this season. A 2-2 preseason record sounds about right for EpiK...before noticing that they lost to BlitZed and Victimise and took victories over Master and Integral. A squad of this caliber should at least challenge a squad like BlitZed, but a 4-12 loss... well, they didn't seem to have their "starters" playing, so that remedies a lot. The squad has about ten players who are quite capable of playing good matches, but beating the top squads of the league still sounds pretty far fetched. A playoff spot is well within reach neverthless.
Prediction: A playoff round one exit is probable this season too.
Ideal starting lineup: jimgasm, HAMGASM, Demi God, babyhef
Players added since last update: Abbreviator, babyhef, evil illusion, GOD!Killer, HAMGASM, jimgasm (jimbobwey obviously), LastDance, Slacker
Exodus
Last season: A 0-5 season with 12 kills scored, finishing last in Pisces division.
Preseason comments: Exodus, they played Euro league, United league and now...Amateur league, all with varying success. Last season was a huge disappointment for the Chaos squad, a 0-5 season and a careless attitude. They're back with basically the same roster with a couple of tweaks, and to tell you the truth, they can't expect to be more succesfull than what they were last season. They aren't even being active in Chaos, how would they win any matches here?
Round one comments: Four games in preseason, 0-4 and seven kills scored. Exodus was without doubt the worst squad in this season's preseason. Is there any light to be seen in the end of the tunnel for them? They lost 4-12 to Alcoholism in the "match of last season's 0-5:ers", so basically they can immediately be counted out of any playoff lookups. A victory? Doubt it, if Dacrath's league system takes them against a noshowing squad, they just might sneak a 1-0 victory. Basically, to start off, Exodus needs to somehow get four to each match, after that they can start dreaming about winning in a fair 4v4 game. Activity is the key to success.
Prediction (changed): Probably a quick 0-whatever and good night for the playoffs.
Ideal starting lineup: AC, Cyborg of Death, Dark Storm, BD-Agger
Players added since last update: Bullets'n'Bombs, Cowboy!, Endors, Frito!, MayorQuimby, Oncoming Traffic, S_N_O_W
Faster
Last season: Didn't play AML.
Preseason comments: NONE
Round one comments: No roster, no skill, no nothing.
Prediction: Booted soon.
Ideal starting lineup: (insert playernames here)
Players added since last update: NONE
Ferrum
Last season: Clinched a playoff spot in their last regular season match against Birds of Prey. Eliminated in playoff round one by No Data.
Preseason comments: Basically the same squad with a couple of additions. LuRp (Nightwatch) is a mentionable recruit. Misterio, Miasaka and Syntech are decent pilots, Don Cherry has gone down from decent to bad during last season. Ferrum can now look openly to this season, as the whole league is slightly weaker and a long playoff run is possible this season.
Round one comments: Ferrum's preseason was a 3-1. They lost to Victimise. Beating Mutiny and Blasphemy were good indicators of the squad's level though. Ferrum can reach a high level of gameplay and the recruitement of Precept seems like a good move. Medicus has thankfully returned to the roster, he's an important piece in Ferrum's puzzle with high activity. Vorbass put it best in his predictions, Ferrum are a season away of being a real contender. Also, as the league is slightly weaker now, they can reach a very long playoff run. I'm still expecting Misterio to pull out a performance like he did in last season's preseason with Master, the way he flew that terrier...it was classic.
Prediction (changed): No championship, but deep in to the playoffs.
Ideal starting lineup: Misterio, Miasaka, LuRp, Precept
Players added since last update: Blueocean, Firewave, Medicus, Precept, Ssair
Fly-NDeath
Last season: A miserable 0-5, the weakest squad in the league with a 6-60 k/d.
Preseason comments: A renewed roster is Fly-Ndeath's new weapon to this season. I have to admit, that I don't really know a single name from the roster, so I should probably stop commenting right here.
Round one comments: Basically recruiting new players to reach a new level of gameplay is often used in this game, but I'd suggest that never before has such a drastic change from a 0-5 squad to a playoff squad been made. Fly-NDeath took a 4-0 preseason record with the help of their new recruits... and to tell you the truth, none of their last season's players played in a single match. That should pretty much give you a picture of the squad.
Prediction (changed): Playoff prone.
Ideal starting lineup: USS Evader, chaoticsky, Holly Molly, Matt
Players added since last update: A-soul, Andyb, Autechre, CAPTAIN PAIN, chaoticsky, DELIVERER OF DEATH, Disturbed Presence, Graboid., Holly Molly, Igotshitofbrains, Matt, The Evil Dead, UMAX, USS Evader
Happy Mob
Last season: Didn't play AML.
Preseason comments: NONE
Round one comments: One of the new squads to AML. A 1-3 preseason record does indicate the squad's level pretty closely. Their only victory came against Old Germany...but that is made obsolete by the fact that Tarnished Silver NTS:ed for the squad and grabbed the 6:0 MVP. It's hard to say how well Happy Mod'll do this season, expect them to lose a major part of their matches though. Leafy is an active pilot and worth spectating if you have to choose someone.
Prediction: A victory as a first season squad is always an achivement, we'll see if the Mob can pull one.
Ideal starting lineup: spirant, Sterling, UB-40, Leafy
Players added since last update: Cheater., Crumbs, Devoit., envision2teg, EPL, Leafy, lowlights, Raizer, seven777, SOEZGG, spirant, Sterling, UB-40
Heaven
Last season: Didn't play AML.
Preseason comments: NONE
Round one comments: The Prevailism of Heaven can be easily seen on the roster. What? No, not the players, I mean the fact that the captain Zorro has listed an inactive player (namely Crustacean), which is an indicator of IML/Pro. Basically Heaven can be a real contender in AML, the squad has...I think six players with Pro experience. And well, along with No Data and Dissent, I'd count Heaven as one of the squads to watch out for this season.
Prediction: Deep in the playoffs. A championship contender.
Ideal starting lineup: Omis, Mythic, Black Assassin, Wacom
Players added since last update: *Crustacean, Alphawing, Black Assassin, Capella, Cerium, Gorog, LordVegas, Morbid, Mythic, Omis, Prisoner, Rezzin, Undying, Wacom, Zorro
Idiosyncrasy
The squad has been moved to IML.
Integral
Last season: Some big victories and some big disappointments. No playoffs.
Preseason comments: No roster listed yet.
Round one comments: Basically a roster of players from last season and new recruits. Ok, so what squad isn't like that? I really have very little to say, maybe Integral can pull off a couple of suprises this season too, but I'm looking forward to a medicore season without playoffs (again).
Prediction (changed): A medicore season with a couple of suprises...no playoffs.
Ideal starting lineup: Blindsight, B|nary, Perceptor, The Crusader
Players added since last update: Aki, azn pryde svs, Berrit, Blindsight, B|nary, DMD, e-one, g Reeper, Jomama, Kryon, Lawrence, Perceptor, Pikel Praetor, Qwing, Radon, ReNeGaDe00, Sixth, Snowgirl, tag_element, tax, The Crusader, Xyan
Liquid Inc
Last season: Didn't play AML.
Preseason comments: NONE
Round one comments: A 2-2 preseason record is quite what was expected from this squad with a large number of WZ veterans. Victories against Wretcheds and Happy Mob are nothing to write home about, but losses to Heaven and BlackNike are not worthy indicators of Liquid Inc's level either. We are still very much in the dark from what this squad can do, and their first round match against Dissent won't be a good indicator either. The amount of SVS experience this squad holds can't be a setback and I'm hoping that they can avoid the usual fate of WZ squads in 4v4 league and survive through the season.
Prediction: Even a playoff spot is possible.
Ideal starting lineup: fallim, FAID, Tak, Malmox
Players added since last update: Cajun-Wz, Chronatog, Clever Fox, Demoness, FAID, fallim, ForMeToPoopOn, Furangi, ICE-TROLL, Iron Man Mateo, LadyGaladriel, Lessa, Malmox, MR>$M00TH, Papa_, Pension, Proxy, Rane!, SabreTooth, Tak, Tars Tarkas, Virago, WhiteStar, xeno.fu, Xi-Luth
Llamasery
Last season: Playoffs and then a first round exit.
Preseason comments: Some changes to the Llamasery roster. The squad's now 11 players strong and a notable addition is Kuan Yu, who now tries to alias as Tomatoes. Nechronos is a solid player who's deeply diseased with the infamous lag-illness. Razar, StormKat and Crunchy are decent pilots. Llamasery should be able to make the playoffs if they field their best.
Round one comments: Exactly the same roster as before the preseason started. Their 1-3 preseason wasn't as good as they can do, but facing Disavowed, Fly-NDeath and No Data isn't exactly an easy schedule. The victory over Exodus was easy enough. The same what I wrote a month back stands. A playoff spot should be well within reach.
Prediction: Playoffs. Maybe even second round...probably not though.
Ideal starting lineup: Nechronos, Crunchy, Razar, Tomatoes
Players added since last update: NONE
Mutiny
Last season: Lost to Oracle X in the playoffs. First round, I believe.
Preseason comments: A renewed roster is leading Mutiny in to a new season. DEATHBED from Idiosyncrasy has taken the captaincy of the squad. KillDawg, Geneva and cdb! are the notable remaining players from last season. skysthelimit is a new recruit from Prevail/Birds of Prey. The squad's clear weakness is the roster size of seven...knowing Mutiny, some heavy recruiting will be done before the season's over.
Round one comments: A 3-1 preseason record was NOT what I had expected of Mutiny. A victory over Dissent was a huge suprise and I doubt that many expected Mutiny to beat StarFire Elite either. A loss to Ferrum was probably caused by the revamping of their roster. It'll be hard to say how far Mutiny can go. They have a strong roster now, but calling them a championship contender would be crazy...or would it?
Prediction: Playoffs.
Ideal starting lineup: Geneva, Jocker, KillDawg, cdb!
Players added since last update: EnderFFX-WZ, fin1, Geneva, Jocker, Tupper Harley, Turbid, x-axis
No Data
Last season: After a solid 5-0 regular season, No Data beat Ferrum in the playoffs and then lost a close match to BlackNike, the squad that won the championship.
Preseason comments: I'll quote DAW's words: "They're due." as I told him that my favourite for this season's AML champion is No Data. I've heard rumours of borAX not playing too much this season and that is a definite setback for No Data. borAX is the force behind No Data's attacking power along with Tin Cup...speaking of Tin Cup, he's a good player. Cose has been practicing lately, Nerve Impulse and sKink are two dangerous players, although sKink's last season was a disappointement to me. Zeromus had a decent last season, but he can probably do better too with all that Pro experience. Dark^sword appears to be the only visible loss from last season. That guy really took advantage of his big latency. Although No Data looks strong on paper, they still hold a huge choke potential, which was shown to the limit by Tin Cup in last season's playoffs. Still, No Data are my favourites for the AML Championship this season. Don't let me down.
Round one comments: I'm having second thoughts here. I know preseason's just preseason, but a 2-2 record is not exactly what I had in mind. Losses to Idiosyncrasy and Disavowed are understandable, but their victories over StarFire Elite and Llamasery were far from solid. The recruitement of Nelson, Shiny and Zauruz will help the squad. They now have...lets see, I count nine (9) players who would start on any AML squad. The stackedness can become a problem quickly as has been seen in the past. We'll just have to wait and see how far No Data can go. I'd still bet my money on them if I had to decide today...and, well... They're due.
Prediction (changed): One of the championship contenders.
Ideal starting lineup: Tin Cup, Nelson, Zeromus, Shiny
Players added since last update: Dark^Sword, Lethal Injection, Nelson, Shiny, Trance, Zauruz
Old Germany
Last season: Didn't play AML.
Preseason comments: NONE
Round one comments: Having a squadname marker, such as OG} in front of their nicknames makes the squad look like a damn DSB squad... if you have to use initials, at least pick some elite names, like OG} Mauler instead of what they have now... uhm, a 0-4 preseason is usual for a new squad, we'll have to wait and see how much this squad'll improve during the season to tell their real level...unless they fade away before that.
Prediction: Possible 0-whatever, but a victory is not out of the question.
Ideal starting lineup: To tell you the truth, I don't have a clue :(
Players added since last update: The whole roster, I'm not going to type out those OG}'s
Overtaken
Last season: Didn't play AML.
Preseason comments: NONE
Round one comments: A 0-2 preseason with losses to Ferrum and Tweaked doesn't display this squad's true level. A lot of questions remain on this squad, just as with other new squads...at least they have a couple of pilots with some SVS experience.
Prediction: Every victory counts.
Ideal starting lineup: a mirror, Blink-182!, Intelli, Rashid
Players added since last update: a mirror, ahhchuu, Blink-182!, Brawler, Cri, Exclusion, Grim Killer, Intelli, LordNester, Rashid, sirown

Spies
Last season: Didn't play AML.
Preseason comments: NONE.
Round one comments: Well, saying anything about this squad would be guessing. B|nary on this squad too!
Prediction: Uhh, alias and the playoffs, no aliases, no playoffs.
Ideal starting lineup: B|nary, Soviet, homersimpson.fu, Zombie Phantasm
Players added since last update: 0-FUSION, B|nary, Dillusion, Gangster, Green Angel, HempFriend, homersimpson.fu, Soviet, Zombie Phantasm
StarFire Elite
Last season: Lost to Oracle X in playoff round two with a score of 6-8.
Preseason comments: My own squad. I won't write a clean prediction for this one, but I'd like to note that I'm anxiously looking forward to this season. We have some good potential recruits for this season and our last season's roster has remained intact. Spec some of StarFire's matches to decide for yourself.
Round one comments: Again, no real prediction here. We did a decent 2-2 preseason, I was benched for the whole time, so I'm going to slit my wrists now..............................
Prediction: Mauler will not play a deathless season.
Ideal starting lineup: Me and three of my squaddies, of course.
Players added since last update: 1stStrike
Tweaked
Last season: Didn't play AML.
Preseason comments: NONE
Round one comments: Tweaked will have to be regarded as a challenger now. A squad that has Bad-News, Champ, Super.Fly, White_Devil and ZDeathX on their roster can't be a bad one. The lack of bench might be a problem. Hard to say anything at the moment, as I'm not quite aware of the activity of their players and such. 1-1 in preseason with a victory over Overtaken and a loss to Disavowed.
Prediction: Anything can happen, mayhaps a playoff spot?
Ideal starting lineup: Super.Fly, ZDeathX, Bad-News, White_Devil
Players added since last update: Bad-News, Blue Shift, Cache, Champ, Colde, Crisis, Dog Snatch, donpablo, Eldark, i n c a., Kanu, LFC, MadAzz, Petrified, s7b, Super.Fly, Symbsters, Taim, uconn, VooDooBen, WatermelonMan, White_Devil, Wrecked, ZDeathX
Victimise
Last season: Eliminated on the regular season with a 1-4 record.
Preseason comments: Some new faces are strenghtening the Victimise squad this season. Fearer from Blasphemy, Wasty from Harness and...a lot of pilots I've never heard of. I saw slab and Mikhail play tonight and they seemed quite good. With the league looking slightly weaker than last season, Victimise will probably make the playoffs. Beyond that it's all based on luck.
Round one comments: Well, a 4-0 preseason with a 48-7 k/d is certainly not what I had in mind for Victimise. The squad was statistically the best squad in the league! Victories over EpiK, Integral and Exodus were easy enough, but a 12-1 over Ferrum? I still don't know how... Basically Victimise is looking strong and we'll have to wait and see how far they can go. A couple of rounds in the playoffs is what I have in mind now.
Prediction (changed): A couple of rounds in to the playoffs.
Ideal starting lineup: Fearer, Mikhal, BRASIL, MrPibb
Players added since last update: BRASIL, Gist, Hover, iota, Jekyll, MrPibb, the L.A man rapist, Zes.
Warlords
Last season: Made it to round one of the playoffs and lost 4-12 to Dissent.
Preseason comments: Warlords saved a part of their honour by reaching the playoffs. It was certain long before the playoffs began that Warlords wouldn't make it past round one in the playoffs and so it happened. I for one would like to see Warlords return to their old glory, but it does seem that they do not have the roster to accomplish that. Tarnished Silver, Bad-News, Royal, decent players but nothing to write home about. A playoff spot should be within reach, but beyond that...
Round one comments: Well, Bad-News is still on Warlords' roster too, so I don't know if he's on Tweaked or Warlords. magneticm has returned to the league scene, he was on EpiK several seasons back and he's a good player for any squad and it appears that space herpe is returning too. Things are maybe a little down for Warlords, but after that 1-3 preseason with some bad losses to -BlitZed-, Mutiny and Wretcheds, I still think that Warlords is a playoff squad in and out. They've lost some excellent players during the last two seasons, but the current players should hold the WL banner high..
Prediction: Round one in the playoffs.
Ideal starting lineup: magneticm, Tarnished Silver, Trunkster, Bearded Dragon
Players added since last update: Gazelle, magneticm, Royal Assassin }{, space herpe
Wretcheds
Last season: Didn't play AML.
Preseason comments: NONE
Round one comments: Well, A 2-2 preseason with victories over Old Germany and Warlords...losses to the stronger Liquid Inc and Spies. Hard to tell what kind of a squad Wretcheds really is...at least I recognize a couple of names on the roster...
Prediction: Some victories, some losses.
Ideal starting lineup: Treason, Perseverance, Lamest Duck, 89Sweaper
Players added since last update: I'm not copying that 25 name roster :(
