Warlords vs. -BlitZed-
Basically a match between two even squads...these are the close matches you have to win to reach the playoffs. BlitZed was suprisingly good in preseason and they've got a good roster of experienced players. Warlords have been on a downfall lately, but I hope they'll get their act together now as the real matches begin. -BlitZed- seems to be on a better form than Warlords, so they'll get my € here.
Prediction: -BlitZed- 12-6

Happy Mob vs. StaTik
I'm at a complete loss as to who StaTik are. Quite frankly, I was just writing reports of the squads and there wasn't a single line about StaTik mentioned on the ScoreMaster. Therefore I'm calling this a noshow.
Prediction: Happy Mob with a noshow
Players to watch: Leafy
)(MasteR)( vs. Spies
Master and Spies...I couldn't really come up with an odder round one match. Spies...well, I'm not going to say anything more about that. Master, while not an extremely talented squad, the better one here and take the game without much trouble..

Faster vs. No Data
Faster didn't have a roster up, so I can't really say anything about them... even if they did, I'd expect No Data to win this.
Prediction: No Data with a noshow.

Alcoholism vs. Fly-NDeath
Well, Alcoholism really doesn't get off easy this season. Facing off one of the most advanced squads in AML in round one isn't the way a young squad like Alcoholism wants to kick off it's season. FND, so much has changed, the recruiting has paid off... well, uhh...yeah.
Prediction: Fly-NDeath 12-4
Players to watch: Big Brother, USS Evader
Llamasery vs. Heaven
Llamasery didn't have the best preseason ever, but I'm expecting more of them now that the regular season begins. Heaven was strong, as expected. Llamasery'll be able to hang on for some 5-10 minutes, but then it'll be all Heaven.
Prediction: Heaven 12-3
Players to watch: Kuan Yu (aka Tomatoes), Omis
Epik vs. Overtaken
Losses to Ferrum and Tweaked made Overtaken's preseason a 0-2, but this'll be closer to their level. Epik was 2-2 and played quite a bit like before. Overtaken will be able to challenge Epik at first, but the experience difference will be too much.
Prediction: Epik 12-4
Players to watch: babyhef, Blink-182!
Mutiny vs. Blasphemy
Blasphemy wasn't at their strongest in preseason, even though they haven't lost that many players. The AML/IML split will hurt the squad's chances in AML badly. Mutiny did a suprisingly good preseason, anything can be expected of them, as they clearly have a strong squad together.
Prediction: Mutiny 12-6
Players to watch: Jocker, Sagum
Birds of Prey vs. OldGermany
Basically a squad with some heavy league experience and a talented roster against a new squad with very little experience. Even though Birds of Prey are known for being nice and allowing NTS's and such, there's nothing friendly about the way they play once the game has begun. Expect this to end quickly with a 12-X score.
Prediction: Birds of Prey 12-2
Players to watch: designator, OG} Spermy D~~ or whatever..
Dissent vs. Liquid Inc
Two squads with a huge amount of SVS experience face off here. The difference between the two is that Dissent have played league and Liquid Inc War Zone. Take this game to WZL and Liquid Inc would win hands down (although some of Dissent's players have got some WZ experience, Miner for example is elite in WZ)... but this match is in AML, so Dissent wins as long as their roster stays intact. By the way, to me it looks like Dissent's AML squad is a whole lot stronger than their IML squad, does anyone agree? Basically it seems like they split the squad only to spread out the playing time...not that there's anything wrong with that.
Prediction: Dissent 12-4
Players to watch: Miner, FAID
Exodus vs. Integral
Integral has choked in easy matches in the past, but this does look far too simple to lose. Exodus hasn't won a league match in years and this match'll bring another loss to the long streak.
Prediction: 12-6 Integral
Players to watch: AC, Pikel
Ferrum vs. StarFire Elite
My own match, no comment.
Prediction: NONE
Players to watch: NONE
Tweaked vs. Wretcheds
This'll be a good match between two "new" squads to AML. Both have players with league experience, so this won't be a "what are repels?" -type of match, like the clashes between new squads usually are. As I checked Vorbis' predictions, I noted that we had picked the exact same squads to win, so here's the tiebreaker...I say Wretcheds win.
Prediction: Wretcheds 12-6
